Rick Doble's impressive Woman in Motion exhibit graces the TAF Gallery this issue. This is a piece where Rick "created images that were at the same time photographic, painterly and computerized; formal and unposed; 100 years old and modern.". They are truely wonderful works. This issue's cover image above is taken from his work. Rick also contributes an evoling text piece entitled "Thoughts About The Future Of Art In The 21st Century - Revision 2.0". This is an almost stream of consciousness piece in parts that is a captivating read.

Janet Buck contributes 3 evocative, captivating poems - City Snow, Beetle Juice, and The Septic Tank. Words telling painful tales of the beast we call society, sometimes asleep, sometimes too awake for our own good... of internal conflict... of being human... Janet's words should be read with undivided attention, and then read over and over again.

Rick Beneteau offers us his observations on marriage in his cynical, satirical, humourous, insightful and even serious piece entitled "At the Speed of Love". Filled personal reflections of his own marriage and divorce it is an interesting piece.

Thom Kellar contributes 10 poems; In A Perfect World, Dead Men, Line Of Sight, Kind Of Blue, Primer Gray, Lovers, Lost, Stress, The Work, and Plan B. Darkness swirls within and from Thom's words. Raw, like an open wound, while enveloping the reader in an almost tangible cloud. Best read on a dark, rainy night...

William C. Leikam was made aware of TAF from a friend of his and he contacted me regarding the Are We A Functional Culture piece I wrote. A few emails later we began an email interview based on his views of the issues I raised in that article. He's an interesting person and was enjoyable to interview. Here is the beginning of that interview. There will be more to come at a later date.
